This is a walking group for people who wish to walk along the Thames, from the Thames Barrier Park where the Thames meets the sea, upstream to its source in Gloucestershire. It is a 180 miles walk, the only walk of its kind which follows the river throughout, with 90 % of the route being a public walkway. We are a group dedicated to ascending peaks and enjoying panoramic views. We organise hikes in the hills around the country and abroad - occasionally going away on several days hiking trips. For each day's hike we generally aim to achieve at least 1000ft in total accent and at least 12 miles distance.
